Questions and answers
Short answers, no waffle.
The questions we hear most often. If yours isn’t here, email us at hello@vitabite.co.nz. A person reads every one.
- A pectin-set gummy is a stable carrier for high-dose extracts and is formulated to be taken daily without water. You're paying for the active ingredients inside, not the chew. Pectin-set holds the dose; people finish them; that's the whole point.
- Most supplement-derived shifts (immune baseline, sleep, recovery, skin and nail turnover) take two to four weeks to show up at all. Thirty days is a sensible window to decide whether a formula is doing anything for your body. If it isn't, stop.
- A clinically-relevant dose of marine collagen, elderberry, or shilajit doesn't fit in a single gummy without the formula tasting like a lab. Two gummies lets the dose match the format.
- Monk fruit extract and allulose. Zero sugar, no spikes. Most supplements lean on sugar alcohols or stevia; we chose the more premium pair because it's what makes the 'zero sugar' claim hold without a chemical aftertaste.
- Yes. Super Greens uses eight functional blends (Antioxidant, Greens, Detox, Immune, Performance, Metabolism, Beauty, Pre+Probiotic), and Multi Strain Probiotic uses three (Probiotic, Digestive Enzyme, Prebiotic). Every ingredient inside every blend is named on the label and the blend's total milligrams is disclosed. You always know exactly what is inside.
- Online here for door-delivery anywhere in New Zealand, and at a growing list of independent shops near you.
- Talk to your GP first. We list every ingredient and dose on the label and will happily share the formulation document for them to review. A supplement doesn't replace medical advice.
